mother goose

A freakishly large mother goose, strikes terror into the hearts of local fisherman.

  1. I like the illustration all though the ducks seem to envoke no reaction to the people in the water. I would of like to seen the shock in the gestures and not people just carrying about their business. The juxtapostion of the the giant geese to the little people could have been played up by adding a little more fear or panic to your little people. great 1st post

  2. Nice drawing, I like the composition and consideration of environment. I second the first crit. Maybe a huge shadow cast from the giant mother goose onto the boat might help build a relationship spatially and narratively.

  3. I didn't know this was for the site lol. Nice, but I agree with Steve. Casting a shadow will help give the piece contrast and an area of focus by breaking up the composition.

  4. I think the eye line of all the bay geese could be used to add to the composition. Perhaps head position could direct toward the boat of lead into another goose or a background element to keep you focusing on the narrative or subject like the daunting size of these beasts against the small fisherman.
