  2. solid illustration...maybe jsut alittle of the right wing showing behind the book to sell the fact that mom is holding it kind looks floaty.

  3. haha, funny you should say that. It is supposed to be floating. I need to fix the book then. Thanks.

  4. I read that it was floating, but I can see what Tom is saying. Dope illustration though.

Just taking a stab at it, does the key and lock mean you're opening their minds up or somewhere along that line by reading them the story? Or is it a summary of the story, and it's resolution? Just wanted to know.

Great to see you posting though.

  5. Lock and Key is one of the Mother Goose poems. Not entirely sure of how it read or what it was about but I liked the idea of drawing a lock and key in the speech bubble.

  6. Really solid illustartion.I agree with the book needing a position change or something to the effect of really giving it the "floating" impression. It didn't read to me that way until I read the comments. Now that I know the Lock and Key is one of the poems I love the speech bubble. At first I was confused by it, but it was simply ingnorance of the literature. Good Stuff!
