Here is my concept and as far as I got with paints. This is how I will dress up my kids. I'll set up a scene and photograph it haha. This one is of Thor standing triumphantly over the dead body of the Midgard Serpent.
I really enjoy the painting and would love to see it flushed out the comp in the drawing prob would have been a beautiful finished render if you would have kept going.
The final render came out really nice, I love the texture! It feels so genuinely storybooky. I like that you posted the sketch too. Nice job, I love that there are no lines and the expression on the kid's face.
I really like the sketch a lot, the comp is nice and interesting. Your painting of the kid is awesome too, it has that cardboard feel. Looks great, I'd like to see the whole sketch painted too.
