  1. Break up the picture plain differntly then the horizontal wavey line that splits the canvas in half. Maby have one of your foreground elements break the division line. It is pretty distracting. Where is you area of focus? You draw attention to the city in the back ground similar to a mangnifying glass and I want to look there becasue the contrast and isolation but there is is no pay off. I would try to avoid trapping the eye all together may be breaking up that rock formation or an opening not a closed circle. Cannot wait to see this polished please post your updates to this orginal post. Thanks Butters!!

  2. Its a little hard to read... I can't tell the difference between foreground and background easily - also the line through the middle dividing the whales from the rest is a little confusing...

  3. I agree with tom about the mid ground enclosed rock formation, I would think about breaking it up a bit, and perhaps moving it slightly from the center of your comp. That top horizontal division does seem a little distracting, maybe if lightened up that top value. or made a clearer overlap with the castle over the mountains in back. I like the idea of aquatic sea creatures swimming around, but I might avoid placing them to horizontal or vertical. Also some light catching those foreground rocks to show off some close up detail might be cool. Hope this helps, very cool man cant wait to see the progress.
