Not all monsters have claws and fangs. Some of them aren't even three feet tall and have the cutest little big eyed faces. Yeah, tried to do something cute. Hope it makes someone giggle.
hahahahaha hilarious. I would love to see another version with the little sister's expression. Everything reads well except for what the big sister is holding...can't tell. Also, the composition seems very straight and stable....where as the narrative seems to be more of a hectic moment. A tilted camera or an upshot of down shot would go a long way to a hilarious story you already have here.
For some reason I just love the saturated 'paint' like colors on the walls haha. Cute little illustration. Like Andrew said, I think a little more dynamic angle would make this even more interesting. Nice piece though.
Very cool illustration, I would have to agree it would be nice to see the expression on the face of the kid, but I dont think I agree with changing the camera, dutch camera angles should be used sparingly I think, only to be used for the most extreme shots or tension. For this I feel it was a nice composition because of the nice spread of balance throughout the picture (the clutter of stuff on the left and the open door on the right as well as the offset of the two characters from the middle. well done.
Too funny! Love the importance of stuff to do above the choas. And the younger is in her clothes, too! Dang. Only grip would be the angle of the back wall being straight on. Looking forward to seeing others.
I really like the concept, I love how you can see the whole story in just this one image.
ReplyDeleteI know the exact feeling this girl is going through I have a two year old that likes to destroythe house....great take on the subject nailed it!!!
