uhmmm!! love the perspective very nice angle! I just wonder where the light came from? maybe another hand can hold up the flash light pointing to his face. Still nice drawing!
Great work Andrew. Unique take on the theme, plus I really like the colors. I agree with the criticisms above, plus the face looks a little soft in some of the features. Small detail though, really nice overall.
Yeah I agree with Joe, I think a shadow of a monster would have been real interesting.. but it's always good to have the mind imagine the rest..
Love the angle, it's good to see you're taking on such a challenging view. Hopefully now you can show someone like Gil or Sunny to help point out how you can correct the perspective issues. Dope.
Thanks guys...I totally wanted to put a shadow of the monster on the sheet!! I was worried that it would distract from the direction lines and composition movement that I chose plus I was having a hard time making it look legit. Sucks that the flashlight and how he has it in between his legs doesn't read. Very helpful feed back!
Really like the concept and the fear in this kids face. Nice foreshortening in the trigger hand and gun. The shape of the flash light seems a little confusing, and possibly you could add more of a highlight or design element in the pant leg to help pull the viewers eyes around. Also a transparent blanket might give you a chance to add some background elements or some intresting detail for story or whatever. Nice post looking forward to next week. ya ya
Nice! the color looks great. Maybe a shadow of a monster showing faintly through the sheet would look nice, Great job though!
